Mawiyah ("Mawiyah," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Zipporah Lee, doing business as Mawiyah, a registered Utah business. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through mawiyah.us (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
Mawiyah is currently a pre-launch site. The only personal information we actively collect is what you choose to give us:
- Email address — when you join "The Essence" waitlist, we collect the email address you provide so we can send you launch updates, fragrance reveals, and related announcements.
- Technical information — our website host (Netlify) may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and general usage activity for security and site-performance purposes. We do not use this information to personally identify you, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers or analytics cookies on the Site.
We do not currently sell any products through the Site, so we do not collect payment or shipping information at this time. If and when Mawiyah begins taking orders, this Policy will be updated to describe what order-related information we collect and how it's used.
How We Use Your Information
We use the email address you provide to:
- Send you updates about the Mawiyah launch, including fragrance reveals, behind-the-scenes content, and announcements;
- Respond to questions you send us directly; and
- Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address or other personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How Your Information Is Stored
Waitlist submissions are collected and stored through Netlify Forms, our website hosting provider's built-in form service. Netlify stores this data on our behalf and only Mawiyah has access to it. You can read more about Netlify's own data practices at netlify.com/privacy.
Your Choices
You may unsubscribe from Mawiyah email updates at any time by replying to any email we send you, or by contacting us directly at the email address below and asking us to remove your information. We will honor your request promptly.
Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Mawiyah grows — for example, once we begin selling products and need to describe order and shipping data. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
